Given the tough times we’ve experienced together over the past ten months, from bush fires to drought, floods and of late, Covid-19 that has tested everyone’s resolve. It is reassuring and pleasing to know The Invincibles Tour have a positive future and is extremely satisfying to know that due to their enviable history, has the support and backing from our Governing Bodies, including………………

Golf Australia, PGA, and the ALPG, along with the Queensland Government, the Sunshine Coast Council, our Zone and District Golf Associations and our sponsors and supporters, who are very keen and excited about continuing their support of The Invincibles Tour, with the aim of building on what has been set in place over the years to help our Juniors in any way they can to achieve their goals.

Since 2003 The Invincibles Tour has built an enviable reputation for striving for excellence in an endeavour to give our juniors and their families every opportunity to achieve their goals, make new friends, and hopefully reach their full potential in a safe, fair, and friendly environment, an environment that offers the highest possible standard of serious competition to anyone wishing to participate, and we appreciate that this can only be achieved with everyone playing their part.

To achieve our goals in these uncertain times, we would like to gain your support at Tour Events, starting this Sunday at the Mt Coolum Junior Open, Rod Pampling / Katherine Kirk Classic run in conjunction with the Boys & Girls District Open Junior Championships, which are Championships that all juniors should be participating in!

Also, the Peregian Golf Course are pulling out all stops to make sure their course and facilities are in perfect condition to host their Junior Classic, so you’re treated to a great day’s golf.

By committing to Tour events, you will be honouring the above organisations that are focused on making sure you are forwarded the best possible support and every opportunity to reach your full potential in a competitive and fulfilling environment.

Given the uncertainty that’s unfolded this year due to Covid_19, which has led to the cancellation of many Junior Classics / Opens, it has been decided by The Invincibles Committee “that like our Match-Play Championships” that nominations will be taken for The Invincibles IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship, that will be hosted by the very generous and supportive Peregian Golf Course, Twin Waters, Pelican Waters and the Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resorts, from the 27th to the 30th of September.

Now that our Queensland borders have been closed to our southern neighbours, with no certainty as to when they will re-open, makes the options above a very tempting and viable alternative given there are limited spots available.

It is important to note, that anyone that has qualified at nominated events since our master’s Championship, October last year, will receive an automatic exemption and priority into this year’s Championship.

If you have a handicap of 10 or less for boys, 15 or less for girls and are seventeen years or younger (an Australian citizen) and can commit to all four days of the championship, then please nominate via gmmiller@bigpond.com

The same will apply to The Invincibles Gold Cup of Cups Championship. If we don’t get the required entries due to lack of Junior Classic’s or Opens in which to qualify, then you can nominate and be in the running as above.
