Final Draw: It has been a long-held dream and a driving force behind the Invincibles Tour to set in place a Junior Golfing Tour that challenges junior golfers to aspire to the highest level. Since 2003 The Invincibles Tour has strived to create a positive and friendly environment that enhances opportunities for their members, and for that matter…………..
“any junior golfer” in the hope of creating an atmosphere that enables them to reach their full potential.
This has been no more obvious than over the past few years, where we have seen some incredible performances, and one must say, that The Invincibles Tour is starting to see the fruits of their labour, particularly when you consider that to get a spot in the Boys Division One of their 2020 Matchplay Championships, that will be hosted by the magnificently presented and very generous Noosa Springs Golf and Spa Resort, you had to have a handicap ranging from 0.5 to +4.2, which is unprecedented.
This says as much about the many seriously talented juniors that missed out as it does for the ones that got through!
To get an invite into the Girls Open division, handicaps needed to be between 4.4 and +6, which again, is an incredible turnout that promises to create an extremely exciting championship.
It gives The Tour a great thrill to have three of Australia’s leading female golfers in Cassie Porter (Peregian Golf Club +6) Yuuki Takada (Southport +3) and Justice Bosio (Caboolture +1.6) contesting the Championships.
The highest ranked boy in Division One is Blaike Perkins (Pelican Waters) who plays off a handicap of +4.2.
Given the fields in all divisions (see below) the committee of The Invincibles Tour believe that we are in for an extremely exciting 2020 Matchplay Championship that will be run under the strictest Covid-19 conditions!
These conditions will be updated as restrictions are eased or revised, and all contestants will be notified leading into the Championship!
The Tour apologises for having to revise the draw, but it was brought to our attention that there were a couple of discrepancies that had to be corrected, and we would like to thank those that were on the ball and advised us of their concerns, which is always appreciated!
We do apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
