That’s when The Invincibles get going; A quick note to wish everyone good health and safety during these uncertain times, times that see us travelling through unchartered waters as we put our trust and faith into the hands of those in charge of guiding us through these testing times “but what really matters most” or is important at the end of the day is how we manage ourselves and what we do as a community to support one another.
We can be the disheartening breed that’s always looking for shortcuts or ways to beat the system to gain an advantage (we all know them) over others during these disastrous and traumatic times that we are experiencing.
Those that would prefer to undermine the system, to take the easy way out, regardless of the cost or heartache they cause others as we have witnessed so many times on the news.
Or, we (The Invincibles) can be the group that would prefer to roll up our sleeves and do what’s in the best interest of their community.
By that one means, following the direction of our Governing bodies, the medical profession and those that are set in place to protect our best interests, with the aim of getting us through these horrendous times as quickly and as unscathed as possible.
There’s no doubt, we all have a role to play, by doing everything within our power to minimize the damage as much as absolutely possible.
You see, we do have a role to play and an important one at that.
You only have to take one look at our governing bodies to realise that they are taxed to the hilt, they are exhausted and anxious, but at the same time determined to get the job done, but they can’t do that without our support.
Regardless of the political persuasion, I think we would agree that all our governing bodies (State & Federal) should be applauded for their efforts “particularly when you witness what has unfolded overseas” yes, they have made a few mistakes, but given the magnitude of the situation, they and we should be enormously proud of their leadership!
If there is one thing I’ve learned in life, it would have to be “TO FOCUS ON WHAT’S IMPORTANT” to visualise the outcome you would like, and then do all the little things in your power to bring that to fruition and I believe the Government is doing just that.
Collectively we are making a difference, and that has been brought about by thinking of others, checking-up on our neighbours, our family and friends, keeping a safe distance from others, following the instructions that our medical professionals, police and governing bodies have set in place, they are working overtime to get on top of this problem and really need our help and support to get through these uncertain and unprecedented times.
So let’s roll up our sleeves for the long haul, by doing what we can to help, no matter how big or small the situation, it all counts, because when we come through these testing and uncertain times, are you going to be the person that is proud of the “Person You See In The Mirror”. As has always been the case, whether we like it or not, we are being watched and judged on how we react and treat others in times of crisis, and I believe our fellow Australian’s are more than capable of stepping up to the mark and doing the right things, particularly in times like the ones we are experiencing with the Coronaviris!
"Which is something us Australians are renowned for and something we pride ourselves on”
With patience and understanding, we will get through these testing times, but we really need everyone to work together.

In the meantime, please stay safe and well, as I am looking forward to the time when once again, we can be back out on Tour enjoying our golf and each other’s company!
