On what was another magical day for golf on the Sunshine Coast, where, Noosa Golf Club made the most of the perfect conditions to showcase their course at its brilliant best to host their 2018 Junior Open, that saw Will Martell (Pelican Waters) and Ionna Muir (Maroochy River - main photo) win the second last event on The Invincibles Calendar for 2018. Will won the boys division with 74 Gross, just one shot clear of…..
Home club boy, Alec O’Brien (Noosa) who came in with a 75.
The girl’s division saw a close affair between two very talented girls “future stars” in Ionna Muir and Amy Hodgkins (Redcliffe) which Ionna won in a c/b after both girls recorded rounds of 85. (course not available for play-off).
The team at Noosa Golf Club should be applauded for the brilliant job they did in setting everything in place to host their Junior Open, their dams were full (which is always a great sign) the course was in magnificent condition, particularly the greens, which all added to a great day out for everyone.
The Invincibles Tour would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the great team at Noosa, particularly Allen Harris (Manager) and Rob Upham (Captain) for hosting what was another great day out.
The Tour would also like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the team in the office, their ground
staff, caterers, Pro Shop (Scott) and bar staff for not only putting on a great day, but most importantly, for making everyone feel so welcome.
We know that we keep saying that one of the great side benefits of The Invincibles Tour is the friendships, comradery, and sportsmanship that’s on display when our juniors and their families gather together at tour events and Sunday was no exception, which is fantastic to see.
