The Invincibles Junior Masters Championship; will be hosted by the very generous and supportive Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Peregian Golf Course, and Noosa Springs Golf Resorts during the last week of the September School holidays (Sunday 30th of September to Wednesday the 3rd of October).
Jordan Rooke (Wantima) qualified for The Invincibles Gold Cup of Cups Championship after coming in with the best combined nett score of 67-71=138.
The Invincibles Gold Cup of Cups; will be hosted by Pelican Waters (Sunday November 25) followed immediately by The Invincibles Annual Junior Presentation Dinner, where we would like to think that all Gold Cup contestants would make themselves available?
The Queensland Boys and Girls Junior Amateur Championships was hosted by the beautifully presented Bargara Golf Club that takes in the magnificent ocean views from the sea side town of Bargara.
Some of the highlights from the four days of the Championship, included; Christian Butterworths (Noosa) “BETTER THAN HIS BEST PERFORMANCE” with his six (6) under par opening round, and twelve (12) under for the Championship which certainly strengthens the argument that it certainly doesn’t get any better than bettering your best!
Christian’s brilliant performance at Bargara qualified him for The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Junior Masters and Gold Cup of Cups Championship which is a fantastic achievement.
Bailey Arnott (Royal Queensland) shared the lead with Christian after his brilliant opening first round of six (6) under par.
Other great highlights included: Cassie Porter’s (Peregian Golf Course) new Invincibles course record of 4 under par 69, and second place with a six (6) under par for the Championship (286), Justice Bosio’s (Caboolture) brilliant win in the 14 and under Girls division with 9 over par 301, Will Bowen’s fantastic win in under 14 Boys division with a 5 over par 293, and Joshua Horswill’s incredible performance in the Boys Division of the J R McCracken Plate (Stableford) with scores of 44 and 41, Caitlin Vanderkruk (Keperra) took out the Girls Division with scores of 41 and 38 which was an excellent effort and just a few of the many highlights that were achieved throughout the Queensland Junior Amateur Championships.
