Well one could hardly imagine anyone wanting to be anywhere else than at the magnificently presented Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort on a picture perfect day with family and friends whilst contesting their Junior Classic, which was won by Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters) and Lachlan Hancock (Maryborough) after producing excellent rounds of 72 and 71 respectively. The heartache story of the day went to……...
Will Martell “whilst using one of Sophie’s old balls” came within 2mm of achieving a Hole in One on the very tough thirteenth hole (particularly given the pin placement).
Lochie Coleborn (Mount Coolum) won the Intermediate Division with a very solid even par round of 72.
It is worth noting that most clubs “if not all” have thrown their weight behind the intermediate division, but without the total support of the 18 to 20 old contestants backing this concept, then you are destined not to have well run and organised events to compete in on a regular basis?
We know there are quite a few young men and women that would like to see this division prosper, so let's get the message out there, and we hope to catch up with you at Mount Coolum on Sunday the 30th of July.
The Invincibles Tour would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the great team at Noosa Springs, particularly Mark Brady (Executive General Manager) Warren Ellis (Golf Operations Manager)

The Invincibles Tour would also like to thank and make special mention of Callaway Australia,
Drummond Golf Maroochydore, and Sunshine Coast Council for very generously supporting the day.

Liam Thomson (North Lakes – p 3- 4 above) won The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Course Cup with 65 nett and in the process qualified for Sunshine Coast Gold Cup of Cups Championship that will be hosted by Twin Waters (Sunday November 26) followed immediately by The Invincibles Annual Junior Presentation Dinner!
The Invincibles Inter – Club Team Shield points for round 7 are as follows: Cooroy Golf Club earned the four points for winning, Pelican Waters Golf Club earned two points for second, with Noosa Golf Club taking out one point for third.
