On what was another absolutely perfect day for golf, The Invincibles Tour and their members took the short trip up the Bruce Highway to contest the Cooroy Junior Classic and for those that took up the challenge enjoyed what was a fantastic day out, particularly Cassie Porter (Peregian Springs) and Sean Daines (Caloundra) who put in excellent performances to win the Cooroy Classic with rounds off 71 and 68 respectively.
Cassie’s 71 was a “Better than her best performance” that set a new “Girls Invincibles Course Record” at Cooroy by beating the old mark by two shots, set by Jaimee Dougan (73) back in 2009.
The Invincibles and their members would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the Cooroy Golf Club (in particular Darren Haines) for hosting another excellent day out.
