If you’re in Queensland on holidays or a local that loves their golf, beaches, restaurants or just relaxing with friends, then you really can’t go past the beautifully presented and friendly hospitality that Peregian Golf Course and the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

The Peregian Golf Course is situated five minutes inland from Coolum, ten minutes from Noosa and a casual ten-minute drive from the Sunshine Coast Airport.

As is the case with all Sunshine Coast Courses, Peregian Golf Course is part of the gateway to the beautiful, world-renowned Sunshine Coast – Queensland, where you have everything on offer, from Australian Zoo in the Glass House Mountains, to the hinterland on the Great Dividing Range that overlooks the Sunshine Coast, where you will find Underwater World, Eumundi Markets, Aussie World, the Big Cart Track and a coastline that boasts some of the world’s best beaches in Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland through to Maroochydore, Coolum, and the world-renowned Noosa beaches.

The Invincibles Tour on behalf of their members and junior golfers throughout South East Queensland, would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to Ian Denny (owner) and his great team at their beautifully presented Golf Course.

The Tour would also like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the great team in the Pro Shop (Dan Morrison – Head Professional) their bar staff, caterers, and ground staff for presenting their course and facilities in magnificent condition, but most importantly, for making everyone feel so welcome.

If you haven’t visited the reformed and beautifully presented Peregian Golf Course (Queensland - Australia) or enjoyed a round of golf on their challenging par 72 layout, that's situated a comfortable sixty-five-minute drive North of Brisbane, then you are really missing out on one of Queensland’s and the Sunshine Coasts most enjoyable experiences.

After a year in the wilderness and "despite a little inclement weather" it was fantastic to see our juniors and their families walking the fairways of the newly formed “Peregian Golf Course” who had to work overtime given the conditions to host their inaugural Junior Classic, a Classic that saw Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters) and Tyler Duncan (Redcliffe - pictured) make the most of the difficult conditions to record brilliant rounds of 74 and 67 respectively. Tyler’s…..

67 set a new Invincibles Course record by one shot, surpassing to old mark that was set by Steven Cox (2014) and Christian Butterworth (2015).

The team at Peregian Golf Club should be applauded for the brilliant job they did in setting everything in place to host their classic, and we don’t believe there were too many complaints about the weather, given the Sunshine Coast “and for that matter, Queensland” were in desperate need of rain which really helped freshen things up, but most importantly, it topped up some very dry and parched dams to the relief of everyone, particularly the clubs.

We keep saying that one of the great side benefits of The Invincibles Tour is the friendships, comradery, and sportsmanship that’s on display when our juniors, their families and galleries gather together at tour events "we can now add patience and endurance" which was more than evident at Peregian on Sunday in very trying conditions.

The Invincibles Tour would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the great team at

Peregian Golf Course, particularly Ian Denny (Owner) and Daniel Morrison (Head Professional - Director of golf) for hosting what was another great day out.

The Tour would also like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the team in the office, their ground staff, caterers, and bar staff for not only putting on a great day, but most importantly, for making everyone feel so welcome.

Tyler Duncan (Redcliffe) and Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters – above 1-2)) qualified for The Invincibles 2018 IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship, that will be hosted by the very generous and supportive Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Peregian Golf Course, and Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort during the last week of the September School holidays (30th of September to the 3rd of October – 2018).

Tyler (p3) also won The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Course Cup with his brilliant 67 nett, and by doing so, qualified for the Sunshine Coast Gold Cup of Cups Championship that will be hosted by Twin Waters Golf Club, Sunday November 26.

The Invincibles Inter – Club Team Shield points for round 12 are as follows: Cooroy Golf Club who have taken “an unassailable lead with only two rounds to go” earned the four points for winning, Pelican Waters earned two points for second, with North Lakes Golf Club taking out one point for third.

Highlights on the day included: Will Martell’s tee shot on 8, George Giblett’s brilliant up and down on 8 for par, Sam Haine’s unbelievable twenty metre putt for birdie, Oliver Merritt, Teeren Kannan and Will Bowen’s approaches to 9, Cassie Porter’s brilliant tee shot and putt for her birdie on 12, James Riseley’s approach to 12, Caitlyn Campbell – Nyman’s fantastic tee shot to 12, Jarred Goodwin’s magical tee shot to 12 that set up his birdie and (N.T.P) and Christian Butterworth’s magician like pitch to within a foot on 12 to save par, and thrill everyone that was watching. These were just a few of the many, many highlights during the day…….

We believe a major highlight on the day, was witnessing our juniors and their families focusing on what’s important “despite what mother nature threw their way” to get the job done, and the organisers, competitors and families should give yourselves a pat on the back for a job well done!!

To witness everyone grit it out and keep a sense of humour was quite a sight to see, and fantastic to be part of!!

If you see or hear of anything special happening at one of our Invincibles events (or any event for that matter) please don’t just sit on them, forward them through to Graeme so we can all enjoy the moment?
