1 2017 on a High mainAs if 2017 wasn’t already an incredibly exciting year for our past and present Invincibles members (as witnessed at their Presentation Dinner - link below) but just when you thought things couldn’t get any better in 2017, Karis Davidson (Sanctuary Cove – main photo) achieved her dream of turning professional, after going through qualifying school in Japan, where she competed in four events to………

Acquire her JLPGA certificate as a “Professional Golfer”.

Which is fantastic news! The Invincibles Tour and their members would like to congratulate and wish Karis all the very best on the big stage, where we look forward to sharing in her journey as she takes her game to the next level.

As was the case some two years ago, when avid supporter of The Invincibles Tour, Cameron Smith, ventured out on the same journey to really make the world stand up and take notice, all because they “Dared to Dream” and backed themselves to get the job done.

Other fantastic breaking news: Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters) won the under sixteen Title at the Aaron Baddeley International Championship, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, Carlsbad San Diego, USA, where Jed Morgan (Royal Queensland) and Lochlan Coleborn (Mount Coolum) came eighth & tenth respectively to help Cooper Geddes, Louis Dobblelaar and Jackson Kalz win the ABIJC Teams World Championship Title for Australia.

A little closer to home at Sanctuary Cove, Cassie Porter (Pelican Golf Course) continued her brilliant form to win the girls section of the Adam Scott 2 Day Junior Classic in a two-way play-off with a Birdie, Birdie finish against Gayeon Park, after both girls finished tied together on 136. Porter set up the play-off with rounds of Par and - 4 respectively to finish normal time on -4.

Lewis Hoath (Emerald Lakes) put in a brilliant effort by bouncing straight back from his lose in a play-off to Ben Stieler (Brookwater) at the IBF Junior Classic at Twin Waters to also win a play-off with Mitch Varley after both boys finished normal time tied together on 136, to gain some form of redemption!

It is brilliant to see our juniors take the disappointment of a loss on the chin "particularly in a playoff" to bounce straight back with wins, as did both Ben Stieler (Invincibles Sunshine Coast Junior Masters) and Lewis Hoath (IBF Junior Classic) which is a credit to both boys, who displayed true grit under pressure.

The Invincibles Tour would like to wish all those taking part in the Greg Norman Junior Masters Championship, all the best and hope you have your A Game with you!

There’s an old saying “That Every Journey Starts with a First Step” but to take that first step, you need a dream “What’s Yours”………….
