A very happy “if not thrilled” Jayden Dyal (Caboolture - pictured) was over the moon after making the most of a perfect day at Twin Waters, that was set up in magnificent condition to win the coveted Invincibles Gold Cup of Cups Championship with a solid 68 nett. What made Jayden’s win that much more impressive, was that he qualified at the second last Tour event for 2017, at Noosa, and said he was going on to win the Golf Cup..... To add to Jayden’s unbelievable streak of good fortune, he went on to win……………..
The major raffle (p8 below) that included A set of Callaway XR Tour Golf Clubs “including Putter” and a Callaway Pro Tour Golf Bag, Back Pack, Towel – Glove, Umbrella, 2 Caps, and a 1 Dozen Callaway Golf Balls, courtesy Callaway Australia and four rounds of golf at the beautifully presented Peregian Golf Course valued in excess of $3,000.00, to the delight of a very happy Dyal family!
The Invincibles Gold Cup of Cups Championship was followed immediately by The Invincibles Annual Junior Presentation Dinner, where just on one hundred and thirty guests gathered together to celebrate a very successful year on Tour, thanks to our competing Golf club, our sponsors, our juniors, and their parents who helped make 2017 a very, very enjoyable year!
The major award winners on the evening were, Caitlin Vanderkruk (Keperra) who won the Wools – Cobb quiet Achiever Award, proudly presented by Kathy and Steve Wools – Cobb.
The best Individual Performance for a Girl went to Cassie Porter (Peregian Golf Course) for her 6 under par, 66 at Pelican Waters to set a new ladies course record.
Jed Morgan (Royal Queensland) won The Best Individual Performance for a Boy with his 9 under par at Bargara during the Golf Queensland Junior Amateur Championship.
Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters) took out the Best Team Person, whilst Tyler Duncan (Redcliffe) won the Best All Round Junior Golfer (boy or girl) and the coveted Players Player Award .
The Drummond Golf Representative Awards went To Cassie Porter and Jed Morgan, that were proudly presented by Roy McClean (Drummond Golf Maroochydore.
Twin Waters Golf Club won the award for The Club that Hosted the Best Junior Classic or Open during 2017 “The Ian Baker-Finch Junior Classic” accepted by Steve Hutchison (Manager Twin Waters )
Pelican Waters received the award for the Club That Did the Most to Promote, Develop and Nurture Junior Golf Award, accepted by Andrew Kenny (manager Pelican Waters).
Cooroy took out The Invincibles Inter-Club Team Shield Award that was accepted (George Giblett, and Will – Nathan Rothwell)

Cassie Porter and Tyler Duncan were the very proud recipients of the prestigious Coastline BMW Encouragement Awards, presnted by Graeme on bahalf Sophie Kurz, Coastline BMW.
Cassie Porter, defending champion (Peregian) and George Giblett (Noosa) eccepted their framed photos and trophies for winning he 2017 Invincibles IGA Sunshine Coast junior Masters Championship.
Lion Higo (Emerald Lakes) accepted her awards for her best nett at The Invincibles Masters Championship, and also for the Best Nett Performance for a Girl in 2017, that was also achieved on day four of the Masters Championship at Noosa Springs.
The Invincibles committee would like to thank everyone that supported or helped with their presentation dinner, particularly Aneka Park below, who did an exceptional job hosting the evening with Graeme.
