The Invincibles Tour would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to the team at Headland, particularly Adam Norlander (Head Professional) and his team in the Pro Shop for hosting what was another great day out.
The Invincibles Tour would also like to extend thanks and appreciation to the team in the office, their ground staff, caterers, and bar staff for not only putting on a great day, but most importantly, for making everyone feel so welcome.
Sam Haines (Noosa Springs – P2 below) qualified for The Invincibles 2017 IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship (no girls qualified) which will be hosted by the very generous and supportive Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Peregian Golf Course, and Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort during the last week of the September School holidays (24th to the 27th of September).
Jarrod Goodwin (Pelican Waters – p3 below) won The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Course Cup with 70
nett, and by doing so, qualified for the Sunshine Coast Gold Cup of Cups Championship that will be hosted by Twin Waters (Sunday November 26) followed immediately by The Invincibles Annual Junior Presentation Dinner!
The Invincibles Inter – Club Team Shield points for round 10 are as follows: Pelican Waters Golf Club earned the four points for winning, Noosa Golf Club earned two points for second, with Headland Golf Club taking out one point for third.
Highlights on the day included: Rhys Vanderkruk’s bunker shot on 11, Will Rothwell & Nathan Rothwell’s monster putts on 7 “Jordan Speare’s drive on ten, then skimmed his second shot across the water, hit the flag stick with his third shot and then had the cheek to sink the putt for birdie” Ben Duncombe just missing out on a hole in one on 8, Jordan Rooke’s approach from the trees on 11, Ben Duncombe’s birdie run on 8,9 and 10, Christians Butterworths tee shot to within a metre on the 6th green and Sam Haine’s eagle on ten, which were brilliant and just a few of the many highlights during the day…….

Mikayla Dyal (Caboolture – p3 below) won the 9 Hole division with 49, runner up went to Marcus Carlson (North Lakes) with 51, whilst Sam Wilson (p2 below) won the five-hole comp with 27, Ellianna MacRae and Ned Longhurst came in second tied on 29!
