Even though numbers were down a little due to club championships and pennants commitments, that didn’t stop the great team at Caloundra from making the most of perfect conditions to host their Junior Classic, where those that took part certainly enjoyed a great day out, particularly Sarah Wilson (Pelican Waters) Caleb Purdey (Virginia – pictured) and Lochie Coleborn (Mount Coolum – p6 below) who finished......
With rounds of 75, 73 and 72 respectively.
The Invincibles Tour would like to pass on their thanks and appreciation to Jason Looker (Manager) and his great team for hosting what was another great day out.
Caloundra, like most clubs on the Sunny Coast, really do support and appreciate The Invincibles Tour, so on behalf of our juniors and their families, we would like to say thanks to everyone at Caloundra, from the team in the office, to the Pro Shop, their ground staff, caterers, and bar staff for not only putting on a great day, but most importantly, for making everyone feel so welcome.
One very lucky junior, Rebecca O’Neill (Gympie – p4 below with Caloundra’s manager, Jason Looker) was thrilled to bits to win the fantastic “Mineshaft X Box - one edition” just for participating in the day and being fortunate enough to have her card drawn out in the lucky card draw. “Oh What a Feeling”. We can still see her grinning from ear to ear.
Zoe Maxwell (Virginia) and Matt Fisher (Beerwah P1 - p2 below) both qualified for The Invincibles 2017 IGA Sunshine Coast Junior Masters Championship, which will be hosted by the very generous and supportive Twin Waters, Pelican Waters, Peregian Golf Course, and Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort during the last week of the September School holidays (24th to the 27th of September).
Bailey Koch (Mount Coolum p3 below) won The Invincibles Sunshine Coast Course Cup with 68 nett, and by doing so, qualified for the Sunshine Coast Gold Cup of Cups Championship that will be hosted by Twin Waters (Sunday November 26) followed immediately by The Invincibles Annual Junior Presentation Dinner!
